Malignant Measures To Stay The Same

Missing image

Down into sand you seeped like storm
raging within this little world of mine
and joined those others afraid of life
here on this browning planet.

You were lost in winter, when bones were loose
with cold sag of harsh wait.

An audience of gray clouds
threaten weakest voices who refuse, yet, to give up
their barky denial even when whispers of change
maligns reasons to do things differently.

Ah, the last beleaguered soul refuses to let the world define the heart or the being. Well done. May we all learn to be as fierce in love as we are in our individuality. Potent with praise and vivid in our strength so those that tiptoe even when the water is shallow can brave the waves.
    Love, Tom B.

Sigh...This is so powerful in it's language...I love every line but this one is so amazing:

    "An audience of gray clouds
threaten weakest voices who refuse, yet, to give up"

am audience of gray clouds.... such metaphor and imagery!
