Facing Forgiveness - Gold

Missing image

She stands in lofty fullness
and sun-round seep of forgiveness
where earth is baldest, uncluttered,
unfettered like a loose feather

and she could, almost, become an pale diagram
in eclipse, like moon, swallowed by brilliance

or a blur, a shadow you see, out of the corner
of your eye, an apparition, of hope gone wild

she is so close to The Unknowable
that he can see the holy wing-lash flutter of fear

Very well said, for all of our striving steps to perfection we are still human.

Sighhh...I am not as eloquent as our beloved Scribe of the Mountain...all I can ever say, truly, is that you touch my Soul with every single word you write, Carol.

I love you, my friend... two of my boys were in sperate accidents over the last couple of days, although they were not hurt badly, it still has set up some angst at being so far away. Decisions are hard to make here... but then that is life.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Sweetie...but glad they're not hurt badly. My goodness, but you've had a time of it these past months...as have many of us. Know that I am beside you, a shoulder to lean on, if only in spirit...but then, THAT is Life. Love you, Woman.

Looking down inside our mire, she must know there are those of us who raise our heads above the mist of fear to touch of wild things...and from her eyes we gater stars for yet another breathless line to render...
