When windy words fill frigid sky to shimmer spirit,
starlight's ghost of wilder feather,
above the standing mist of winter,
this perfect planet, turning season's bliss in hopeful hands,
past the winding city's, ruthless clock,
in street to talk of braver wave, saving love;
I see you smiling from God's own finger,
snow drifting sighs of crystal flowers,
rotating eyes to frosted etchings, on soul-glass faces,
our middle moving wild-child whispers, which blue embraces.

"this perfect planet, turning season's bliss in hopeful hands"
And you, dear Scribe, are one of the few that makes it spin so beautifully. Congratulations, Rich. This is such a lush & lovely penning, my Friend.

I see you smiling from God's own finger,
Rich, my forever Colorado friend.....needless to say that you created magic again and congratulations on the award. But that above line is what I feel like everytime I read some of your words. Some smiles are bitter sweet ones , others are warm and joyful ones.....but they are always smiles of the heart,
much love to you and may this season be all that you wish it to be. Most of all , may it be filled with love and peace for you,

The picture reminds me of a rock formation in the Namib desert called "God's Finger" - and here you wrote it! This is lovely poetry... in all the colours of winter, love, nature, wind and skies.
