The goddess of storms takes her place
overseeing all around her
creating storm clouds,
and sending thunder and rain
to places far and wide
She whips up the wind
and makes oceans roar
her reign is fraught with many decisions,
blizzards, floods, cyclones, tsunamis, droughts
they are all her doing

Beautiful write. Wonderful take on the pic. This piece made me think of mythology, like the goddesses of the Earth, how everything can have a spiritual aspect to it and keep the cycle of life going. Good luck in the contest.
