And I’m so tired of this tolerant air
So tired of this extremist conservative
So tired of the polar ends.
Can we not have love and truth
Together, and have no calamity?
Can we have propriety
Yet honor man’s free will?
Just because he does it
Does not make it right.
Just because it is a sin
Does not mean we should run in flight.
I never said I advocated
Those who stab the sinner.
I never said, the other end
That I am fully liberal.
But rather, I would like to say
I read God’s word with care
And what I see is a chance for man
To do good or to fall down.
Fall may be his choice, indeed
But does that make it right?
Of course not! Course not!
But he may wander in dark if that he choose.
I never told you
I hated you
I only hated your choice.
To love you, then to see you fall
It makes me want to die.
I wish you would not bend my words
To please your foolish ideals
I wish you would not bend my way
To make me sound a villan.
But that is you, that is your choice
A choice I cannot change.
If you should choose to be a fool
Dear, you must have your way.
Author notes
I am SO SICK AND TIRED of the constant talk of being gay. I have gay friends, and I love them to death, let me assure you, but to see them CONSTANTLY be foolish, to constantly chase after somethign that will not satisfy them (even in the past years, I have seen them run from lover to lover for love and not find it). It burdens my heart. But, it is their choice.
Please tell me what you think

Awesome.
I completely agree with everything in this poem. Awesome job expressing your anger into words, it gets me pretty frustrated too. =D
