I bit my tongue today.
To keep from saying;
the words I was tempted to say.
It is said:
If you can’t say something nice,
Don’t’ say anything at all.
There is such wisdom in those words.
I wish there was way to lock the door of my lips.
To set a watch there.
To always be mindful.
To always take care of what comes forth.
The tongue can be sharp,
and powerful.
Once the words are said,
they can never return.
They are like feathers in the breeze.
Words that are chosen intelligently,
are like find gold and silver.
You will never need to worry
if you chose your words
with care, astuteness and Love.
If you can’t
then please
Keep your mouth;
Out of service,
Keep it Shut.

This is great... I can see how the picture directed you to it and i now how much words can hurt... so thanks for spreading the word!

Oh, this is powerful. It's so true that words can be a very powerful weapon and they can hurt someone bad. I've learned to respect words a lot due to some not that good experiences of past, and I do now how bad they can hurt another person. I agree that if we can't say anything good, we should just keep our mouth shut and keep those bad words to our own. Wonderful way of portraying that truth of life!
The only thing that really bothered me were the lack of dots and such... Made it a bit difficult to follow and read, but I like it nonetheless! Wonderful work with this one!
