This is my first Christmas away from you.
Opening presents alone
Just makes the distance grow,
And the lonely mistletoe hangs
Without you and I under it.
I want to run halfway around the world
And into your arms again.
When you gaze upon the star that guided the Magi
Know that I'm gazing too.
Merry Christmas baby,
I miss you.

*Sigh*
I swear, I'm not gonna cry about this stupid guy anymore. Marc- the whole saga, including the drama- is (after this next poem) forever done and over with. Case closed.
I love this poem. -
nice love poem. I was struck by the lonely mistletoe and the star gazed upon by you and your absent beau. I hope he gets to see this.

Not bad ...
although I wonder if anybody can actually see the star that guided the three Wise Men. That's a rather whimsical point, but other than that, I think you've done a good job with this.

Nice,
So beautiful to read a love so deep.
Thanks for sharing this dedication. Well penned!
