Everybody's gathered round,
word playing, hanging out,
revealing slowly; soon
they're found floating in air
Mindful; long lost language
swirling everywhere
from a bright fountain
in the center of the square
Some jump in, giggling gleefully,
flinging sounds and syllables
here or there in a neverending spray of voices
Dancing, drenching themselves with choices,
baring worst of fears, no thought police near;
they're savoring the finest drops of mindlessness.

Some great alliteration in these lines, and very vivid visual images shown with your words. Liked the flow and the ease with which this is read out loud. Thanks for commenting on my poetry earlier this evening.

thanks
this was an enjoyable read, thanks for sharing with me, good luck in my contest -
this is very good, I'm floating in the air, and jumping into the fountain of long lost languages with you - exhilarating, empowering, enlivening, I love the water image (flow of words) and images of dancng with words, the intoxication of language. The fountain in the square is a potent image of life, and I can hear the happy voices. Love it. Good rhythm and rhyme schemes.
