Adobe walls sheltering the soul
robed voyagers of serenity sworn to silence
separately tending paradise blooms only they see
inhaling the air of solitude inspires reflection
lilting whiffs of visionary petals float from monastery
spreading their perfumed epiphanies as smell of truth.
Walking towards the light, calm their aroma in roses
journey inward beyond pungent cares.

Very well done, Great imagery that speaks of loneliness and the odors that go along with. Thanks for entering into the contest.
Be well and be blessed,
Mouser -
the repeating sounds and imagery in this very lovely flowing poem just played off my tongue so smoothly. I always love the visuals and language in your poems. Certainly a delight to read this morning
Isolation can sometimes be lovely...~blessings always~
