We'll run to Russia
where no one there
will understand
and our built-tall towers will fall.
We'll meet a man
who'll teach us the road
and our clouds will all part
to find us dancing.
And we'll colour our hair
to be other people
write little notes
in the ways that we've learned
and erase only the I's.
We'll read books of war
out loud in bed
and shed flowers
with every step we take.
And we'll paint each others' nails with
little scenic photos and
draw leaves on
whites of our eyes.
Sparkle our skin
and stab them all with our love
dance across the sky,
our tears dropping like gold.

Nice job!
Lovely imagery, very striking in several places. I thought it was very effective how you started a lot of your lines with "and" to making poem move faster. Well written and enjoyable.
