Don’t give up yet
That’s what they all say
But what happens
When there’s nothing else to do
But just that?
Do you just keep going?
Silently but surely
Falling into another black hole
Another black sun
Another black thought
Another silver streak
Splashed with red
Another metallic scent
Another dimly lit room
Another voiceless sob
Until someone comes up and bursts the door open
Just to find you sitting there
Virtually drowning in your tears
And screams about how weak you are
How insignificant
How distant
How unloved because of your un-sociallity
Words meaninglessly flying off the walls
Discordantly rambling into the nothingness
Just to echo back up
And set about ruining the calm in your mind
Crushing your hope
Your faith
Your heart
And everything else of worth about you
Until there’s nothing left
But an empty void
A shell of what once was
Of what will never have a chance to grow
To flourish
To bask in the light of its own success
Another dark room
A different dark time
Another broken dream
Another deafening scream
Another silver streak
Another splatter of red
Another ghostly shadow
Another scar unhealed
Another
Another
Another
Until there can only be one more
And then another long chord
Another sudden drop
Another news report
Another black hearse
Another silent face
Another head-stoned grave
The last rose withered crimson
With silver-green thorns
And the last dried, red drops
Washed away by the rain
That should have fallen two hours earlier
Too late for the celebration
So sorry for your loss

well expressed and emotion filled poem.
Liked reading even with repeats which made it better.
Best wishes and good luck,

Though this was long it kept my attention, the repatition is good because it shows a needing for attentio. Good Job.
