It seems as though my world's caving in
Nothing I do can stop it.
I try with everything I have
To put away the sin
The blades of life slice my heart
They take away my little spark
Of living and dying I cannot compare
They are one and the same
When you are there.
It is like taking away my sanity
And replacing it with suffering
You know not what you do to me
You know not who I want to be.
You cannot see the pain you cause
The tears I've shed
To make you pause.
I can't believe you never saw
You were killing me after all.
The tears are gone
The pain will fade
My heart will mend
I will be free.
To love myself
Once again I will
I won't let you take away my life.
