The little girl
sat silent on a hill
comtemplating if she
should take the pill
Then she swallows
and close her eyes
starts to pray as
she silently cries
2 yrs later... still addicted
and constantly high
Depression kicks in
and makes her sign
No help in sight and
no longer considered a child
14 yrs old
but no less wild
Then comes the boy
trouble is what he is
because she's pregnant and
of course the baby's not his
9 months later
a baby boy
full of smiles
giggles and joy
She'll never forgive
she uses more
she didn't get a chance to live
and she still sore
Takes her anger
out on her boy
she doesn't understand
he's not a toy
We should all be full of concern
cuz he'll meet a girl
they never learn
history repeats
Even the kids get a part
in a life of sin
that's easy to start
but hard to end

A very raw and real and emotional poem that was very well expressed and painful to read. Best of luck in my contest with this excellent piece.

There are not enough words in the worldto adequately explain how much I feelfor you! This has such raw emotion, such a riveting tale and a sad one at that! All I can tell you keep your head up, although it seems like ther's no hope for you, there is and His name is Jesus! You'll get outta this soon, I promise. God will make a way!
