Inhaling guilt
each moment I breathe;
acquittal denied
in this courtroom of self ~
balancing backwards
upon wire of steel
cutting
and leaving me here...

I have just recently forgive myself for talking out of turn and hurting a friend in that instance. What I realize a ways after the fact ti s the person needed to be told exactly what I told them. I have forgiven myself now. I have no idea if they ever will consider my apology and forgiveness. That's okay because moving on feels so much better than staying stuck in that moment.
You spin searing emotions with well chosen words in this poem poet. I feel every word. The best to you in the Comp.
Much Love & Happy Holidays ♥

You know, I've gotten so many sweet and loving entries in this contest, but the realest ones are like this. Those unending moments, are so often NOT pleasant, and you captured that so well here.
Thank you for entering
Always good to see your entries in my contests.

An Original!!
Such drama of one's own justise system! Tortured by one's own thoughts of wrong doing! Hanging in the midst with no way of escape. Excellent write Sis! So much in few words! Well done ! Don
