Interpretations shine as I slumber
I am convinced stars rise to their death
I sing a song to the drowning night
with somber eyes of fear
I thought how high and mighty
like a bright shining light
I held the twinkling before love
That night the lullaby sought after fear...
and that's the thing you should know about love
Author notes
I know it's quite ambiguous but the idea is that the problem with love is being afraid of it.

Fear of it is definately a problem, or moreso fear of revealing it to the ones that you do love.
This is a very visual take on the idea with a good overall image of it being a dream.
Good write.

A really original creation in which you have clarified something that I have also thought as well- and that is the fact that people tend to fear the light of love even more than the dark, and how fear and love cannot really exist together, as fear usually destroys trust and makes one controlling and possessive, which is the death knell for a loving and open relationship, in which fear has no place. Keep up the wonderful and thought-provoking works.
(p.s. Thanks also for your very kind and supportive comments on my poems. It's deeply appreciated.)
