The Keeper of My Soul


My feet may slip
causing me
to stumble
into a darkness
without the realization
of my way home

~

But for these sins
I commit
each single day I live
~ my Savior
has already paid the price

~

Once I accepted Him
as my Savior
He became
~The Keeper of My Soul~
and he promised
~neither height nor depth~
~nor life nor death~
~the angels above nor the demons beneath~
could ever separate me from Him

    The Keeper of the Soul has always been there for me and I am so very thankful for it...especially this past week I have been so very sick...and I know he has helped me pull through a tough time once again...

    Wow!! This is amazing sweetie!! You know, the fact that we are lost in this world until we come to a saving knowledge of Christ Jesus. Our lives are so chaotic without Christ. We receive the free forgiveness that came from the blood of Jesus He is the alpha and Omega!! The Beginning and the End!! And even though this world is lost and sick and dying, there are still those Christians who are still very much alive This was truly an awesome poem Liz. I very much enjoyed reading it!! As I always enjoy your poetry thanks for reposting this. I am glad we are back in touch!!

    Many do not understand that once saved, you are forgiven for all your past, present and future sins. He is all knowing and knows what we do before we do it. Many would like to say,,,look what you have done, you sinned here or there, how can you think God loves YOU? But that is satan's way of confusing us if we allow it. I like how you have used The Keeper of My Soul...for it is he who has it, no matter where we travel.
