Golden aura ripped away in divisions
invasions of false colors replacing light
as pale misery dims once clear visions
for harsh struggle has taken all my fight
A thousand woes have befallen this soul
and a thousand more this will could conquer
with each after as simply a parole
until the end of self imposed splendor
Having held heaven and had it withdrawn
And distanced even yet further somehow
my spirit whispers of the end of the dawn
with destiny discarded for the now
