The Truth Of Me Be Born.

Time to take the time away from all I need in me,
Time I think to others needs, to give my heart now free,
I look me then around me in the job this life it gave,
I see the fear within their eyes, as they think upon the grave.

I to take them back to better times,
When they were young and bold,
Not aged in the body,
Not insignificant and old,

The reasons of this life not I,
Or ever my own need,
Not who I wish within my bed?
Or whom my love to seed?

The one true faith I came upon,
When she cruelled of my heart,
The light to shine at last to me,
And at last my life to start.

Not I to ever think upon,
Not what my life to need,
But only they these people,
That society does bleed.

I to care within a passion,
More intimate than love,
I owe me them all that I am,
So their end a velvet glove,

I will strive to be unselfish,
I will strive to never take,
I will always give the heart of me,
For others their own sake.

And maybe in this world so cruel,
Where my heart was always torn,
Now in her heart insignificant,
The truth of me be born.

Beautiful write Beautiful indeed. Flames said it all when she told you of what she thought.

This is my favorite part of this poem for I can identify with it:

And maybe in this world so cruel,
Where my heart was always torn,
    Now in her heart insignificant,
The truth of me be born.

    I exclaim through fierce flames
    of soaring dragon might...
a heart that writes likes this....
    would NEVER be..

your poetry has some what of a medieval feel to it, but even better you have molded it into a signature that is yours. surely one of the most original styles of writing I have ever seen on AP or else where.

I loved her with all I am Nikkie, tell me?
Did any man in your life ever love you like that?
And I did not need to know her.
All I ever did was feel what my heart said was right. And never in my life have i ever felt like that before. And never will I ever again.
