I'm walking through this darkened life
walking alone is all we do this time
the streets are empty, so dark, so scary
like a thick forest hiding my way
The little girl I keep inside
is always scared, so cold and shy
She wants an angel to hold her hand
she needs protection to keep her warm
She feels so lost, among the trees
she needs to rest, somewhere to lean
I cannot help her, I'm scared myself
I need and angel to pass this test
And in the shadows I find my savior
my always hidden guardian angel
So now I know I'm strong enough
to overpass what may come
My Little girl is not afraid
she has her angel protecting her from pain

this is beautiful and definately came from within you...so it doesn't sound forced...which i don't like...it's nice and full...there's no emptiness when i read it...nothing to be added...and thats what people should go for...unless you're being abstract and want it empty sounding or imcomplete.
