Main gate-Many Years Ago.

Military police:
Pinned in a

strangle hold,
by an infuriated drunk,

I passed into a realm,
beyond mortal bounds

but came to

grateful
eons later.

    You never cease to amaze me with your scenic pen. I have yet to read a work of poetry by YOU that doesn't stop me in my tracks. The imagery here is as if you've written an entire scene that I watched take place, right before my eyes. Brilliant!
