As the sun rises
I wish to capture the moon
Morning comes too soon

How the sun does burn
An infinite monsoon ebbed
Leaving my soul ajar

Let this sun be black
Conjure water on my skin
Protect me always

    There is both a desolate darkness to this and bright light to this also...i really love that about poetry, how there is two sides to it. great write! i enjoyed reading it!

    Oooh...I like this one. It seems a bit eccentric, but don't all haikus do? This is very straight, and direct to the point, though a bit of imagery would have helped. But, maybe that's how you wanted this haiku triplet...

    Good thing I've got you on my favorites list, or I would've missed this beautiful piece of work.
