Good King Wencelas just looked out,
Of his bedroom window,
Silly person he fell out,
And landed legs akimbo,
Brightly shone his cheeks that night,
He felt such a fool,
A passing peasant saw his plight,
And laughed cos he was cruel,
Good King Wencelas sat and cried,
Like a little kiddie,
He got up and went inside,
Feeling somewhat giddy,
Oh how stupid he had felt,
He'd landed on his rear,
Now he stood by the fireside,
With a great big jug of beer.
