What the fuck were you thinking?
Oh, I think I know, old man, slathering
the screen with your youth, misspent,
spilled as useless and unknown as urge
to merely please yourself.
Please, you could have spared me
your quick mop-ups.
I could already tell by your pathetic
plain character that you had no one
to touch, but yourself.

So close to truth it hurts. Life never goes in a straight line or there would be on diversions like war, hate and unfaithfulness. I guess maybe Love goes in a straight line? Maybe? Does Love go directly to God's eye? To God's heart? To the place of peace?
