This stand of Genius and Lunacy,
Of Life and Love
Can set you free
But only if you believe
You wanted me to write to you
You wanted me to say
Say that the mask is gone
That it has flown away
I’ve been set free
By this crow you see,
He has carried me far
And taken me from my home
Taken me to this little island
Where stallions roam
On that ranch up on the hill
And there stands two trees
One oak
The other apple
We would share our lives ther
Just you and me
Under those trees
We would ride those stallions
Ride on
Into the sunset.
How can you believe what you can not see
But life can be just simple poetry
Follow the rime
Follow the time
And it can set you free
Free from those heartaches
So I guess all I am saying
Just take off the mask
Your true self is waiting inside you
Behind those golden lashes.
Free your self from YOUR binds
Become who you want to be
Believe in your self
Because that will set you free
