on a summers day a beverage of delight
ah, tuned in to sweet, chilling, respite
a winter’s chill becomes a fireplace’s lure
crackling flames snap the warmth a cure
self-evident each vibration in life
the puzzles, joy & yes, the strife
each entry embellished, embroidered, whole
yes, yes, poetry becomes excision of soul...

One way or another, this is true for me, too. Poetry is a delicate surgical instrument which reveals and removes infection. Five words, with a world view in them.

Hello Margaret
Thank you for your warm, insightful, words I'm delighted you enjoyed and was able to share in the thoughts expressed
So often it is much easier for me to express myself in a poetic way than in a verbal form.
Have a glorious day!
You made mine
