It is written,
in the beginning, the creation of man.
No strings were placed upon the arms and legs for a reason.
It was "not" puppets he intended to create.
His intention was to mold from the earth beauty and strength.
A reflection of God's determination and love.
With one breath from his mouth we were heart beating and alive.
Ancient scriptures do say a time came when man and woman
ate from a tree of life changing their fate, losing their innocence.
Many have asked if this story is true, or simply a metaphor
of goodness versus evil.
Why is it god would allow his children to suffer so?
The answers are buried deep within us, each one of our hearts,
bitter to taste,
hard to swallow.
It is truly up to us, as single beings, individuals,
to struggle powerfully in life.
Reach out personally,
make a difference in each other's lives.
WE bear the sorrow,
the decisions that each one of us makes,
when deciding how life will be cherished, disgraced or celebrated.
Do I turn a deaf ear, when it is "not" my child who suffers?
Has it become only "trauma's and headlines" that catch our attention?
What honor do I give to assist or change the laws of our homelands?
Do I care if I miss the national elections? Does my single vote matter?
How important am I really in the BIG picture of living, will my life really
make a difference for others?
Why is it 25% of the workers in charity do ALL the work for the rest of us,
the 100% whole.
You ask the most tender of questions.
Is it really that he allowed this to happen?
We his creation, his men, women, boys, and girls
were all somehow a witness in allowing darkness to grow...
not lifting up our voices and demanding solutions and justice.
Did we see the warning signs of this young man who violated her,
did we become smug believing that it could never happen to one of us!
My dear poet, evil, the darkness is all around us, it is up to us to "expose" it.
I reach out to you today, struggling powerfully to find the right words to
help you understand, that a single candlight exposes the darkest of dark,
and that candlelight
is
each
one
of
us.
Thankyou for reminding us, to burn bright, and not think that "IT"
is none of our business, look away, not get involved...
that is what FEAR tries to say "not" your loving God.
Faith requires Action are his exact words.
Discovery is what the dark, and those who feed upon it fear the most.
Thankyou for turning on the light this day. You have truly made a difference.
