Frozen Words and Dehydrated Eyes

I want to cry for her,
For her sorrow.
I want to cry for them,
For their happiness.
Yet when this goes down,

Something else rises
In need of tears
That don't come,
Tears that haven't come
For a while.

In need of someone
Who
Will
Listen
Yet no one
Will.

Or maybe I'm just too scared to say-

It
Again

For fear of the last time.

A contest entry

Lol. Cliche.

This is good Mer, and yes I know it is you. I love the suppressed emotion. When I read it, I wasn't bombarded with serious pain or anything, it was just so... quietly sending a message. Good work.

Didn't exactly expect to keep you guessing until the end Emma I'm glad you liked it and that you caught onto the little surpressed emotion thing.
