I still pine for you
Even though there might be others.
I still have you in my thoughts
Even though someone else feels you.
Even though she loves you,
And you are by her side,
I secretly wish and smile sinfully,
Hoping that I could be yours.
I hear of how you embrace her.
And hear her words of love.
I witness her say them,
Whether by ink or blood,
Yet still I love thee
With every vein within.
A tender rose
Guarded by the thorns
Keep me from getting to thee.
It's like a barrier
Protecting this love with you and her,
Keeping a helpless woman like me,
From ever taking it.
Yet still I love thee,
And more so at that.
It's a love that I feel
Yet I can never have.

Great
The wonders of a love lost and never had again. This is great. I am sure that there are a lot of us who have had this happen to us before. It always seems that when you are with a person they drive you crazy then when they are gone you miss them so much. Love never dies keep hoping and praying and maybe one day all your dreams will come true. -

I love the longing and determination you have.
"A tender rose
Guarded by the thorns
Keep me from getting to thee."
