washed down with a swig
of comfort

I fuse with my chair

then,

a thought disrupts
a perfectly good episode
the Waltons

 

have  I settled?

 

but John and Livvie
are worries about Jim Bob


so I cozy down

    Loved this, though felt that cozied and comfortable were a little too similar for my tastes, and felt repetative given they appear so close together. That's a small nit-pick though, and on the whole, this is one of the more enjoyable pieces in the contest. I'm starting to hate the idea of this contest because you're all making this incredibly difficult. Can't ask for more than that, really

    this has a comfortable feeling but also conveys a feeling of alarm... interesting... love this moody and intense little write...

    thanks for making me question myself... I am sorry that I still don't care about Jim Bob... but sure, with some whiskey to wash it down, I could watch John Boy and Livvie worry about him all night...

    Billy Bubba Bo Bob Buckwheat Boob dies of syphalis in that episode. I have seen it many, many times myself while not settling with Yukon Jack and some crosseyed chick in my lap.
