The Spelling Bee

Me and my friends are going to a Spelling Bee,
We have never been to one before,
And I’m not sure what they do at them,
Guess we will just have to wait and see.

A Bee that can spell is really amazing,
I didn’t even know that bees could talk,
But to hear one that can spell is great,
Next thing you know they will be singing.

Then the truth I found out,
A Spelling Bee isn’t where a Bee spells,
It is a spelling contest for people,
Now that’s what it is all about.
