playful passion upon your fingertips,
crushed inside your glove,
a memory jaded by the circumstance,
shimmering beautifully of love.
dear god you say,
what you'd give to live again,
to feel the cold of your sanctuary,
destroyed by the scrutinty of men.
a slate of gray,
blackened by the trees,
muted by the snowy hills,
sink down to your knees.
lay in agony,
I'll cover you in snow,
let the memories flow inside you,
and in the end you'll know.
no more lies,
no more deceit,
no more intoxication.
no more love,
no more trust,
no more inebriation.
just the cold,
just the snow,
the wind upon your face,
whispering it's lullaby,
you're gone without a trace.
