The sides of your life can never be equal,
The colours never seem to match,
Family? Sorted,
Freiends? Brilliant,
Boyfriend? No....
But when that spark of light,
Comes into your life on horseback,
The whole thing flips,
Friends? diregard you,
Green and red sparkeling in their eyes,
Family? All on tenterhooks.
Our lives are never equal,
Hearts are always broken,
While mine is slowly filling up,
I wait,
Half expecting the glass to tip,
Crash upon the floor...
But the blue of my sadness,
It wont look good on the orange rug....

Your poem is very true and at the same time very unique. The rhythm is somewhat strange in some places but it is good nonetheless. I especially love the last 2 lines, it really gives a good close to the poem. However the title, "Colors of the Heart", you mention only one actual color, I think a title like "Balance of the Heart" would fit a bit better, but just a suggestion, it sounds good as is.
