Misery (an xx series poem)

Roses and champagne
I fear I'll never
be the same
and I blame, misery

I have never been the kind to
never say no
I could turn down
the queen, the crown
but I can't say no to her

I always stood firm
not the servant of Cupid's bow
how can this be anything
but msery

oh how I loath, misery

Author notes

I believe in love but I never said I believed it was a good thing...its more like a disease. You dont have it and you wantr it, you get it and you wish you did't and from then on you're stuck with the headaches, and drama, and stress....lech....no thanks....
