There was a town named Wobegone,
The name means misery or great woe,
The population was one hundred one,
All wore tattered clothes from head to toe.
Another towns name was Makarios,
Which means happy or full of joy,
Where all are happy, whether in gain or loss,
Everyone each man, woman, girl, or boy.
Both towns were in Haboob valley,
Which is the valley of violent dust storms,
The towns received the same weather, you see,
One town rejoices while the other one mourns.
It’s not what comes at you in life,
But do you see the cloud or its silver lining,
Do you face an opportunity or strife,
This determines your success or failing.
