with the angels in the sky?
How do I know you went somewhere
that will let your spirit fly?
You're the one who took care of me,
I loved you so.
Now you're gone and I'm left to be
swallowed by my woe.
How do I know you're safe and sound,
and not being treated unfairly?
To hear you're in hell, I'd beat God to the ground.
All you have to do is send me a fairy!
Write me a letter,
and tie it to the fairy's wing.
You could send it to me with a sweater,
just like the ones you'd make in Spring.
How do I know you're up there,
with the angels in the clouds?
Send me something to let me know you're fair,
so I can stop mourning and make you proud.
Author notes
This poem is the first I've written since September, and if I may say so, it's nice to be back. Hopefully this time I'll stay. Anyways, this is a serious poem about person A, who just lost a loved one (person . Person A is speaking to Person B, wanting Person B to let them know that Person B is okay.
A few weeks ago one of my friend's mother died, and today I learned that another of my friend's Grandma died. Also, my best friend has lost two grandpa's in the past, and one had been her best friend, she lost him at the age of seven. This poem is for you three, Allison, Steph, and Courtney. You three can be sure that your loved ones are safe, because I know it's true.
Please tell me what you think

Wow... this was so emotional. I haven't lost someone close to me since I was very young and I just couldn't imagine loosing my Granny!
... Well... I think that you shouldn't wait around for an answer unless a miracle happens and she answers you in your dreams... These kinda of things are about faith...and if you have faith and you know she is proud... that will help you much more than always wondering.
