i remember crying,
as you lay dying,
know i can imagine you flying,
but that day,
my mind went astray,
singing to you,
as in my memory you will always stay,
as i kissed you goodbye,
after i saw you die,
in my heart you shall be,
for eternity,
a loving reminder of the real me,
i could only remember one part of that song,
it seemed to last all day long,
i was so wrong,
when the men came to take your body away,
my dad didn't want to betray,
so he carried you himself,
and place you in the van live a glass on a shelf,
as tear stream down my face,
without grace,
my grace was died in a van,
about to be burnt,
that day a lesson was learnt,
if it is that hard to loss an animal,
god help me when my parents pass away,
but soon is not that day,
i love you still,
always have and always will,
