Standing ground, earth's protector
Insightful to their plea
Keeper of the spirit wolf -
Safety from society
Inner soul, this guardian -
A warrior of nature's harmony
Soft and gentle she will tread
Inspiring earth's kingdom of living
Shelter to the pups and paws
Obscuring them of evil doing
Mistress to the Great Mother, behold
Maiden heart - kind and loving.
Author notes
The literal translation od Siksia is of a band of Blackfoot and sisomm means puppy (wolf would never have been pronounced)
It is in the Siksia language of the Blackfoot tribe.

Soon as I entered this page I could feel a spiritual aura in here. An inspirational and enlightening poem and also I have learnt something new. Brilliant acrostic and best of luck in the contest.

Awesome.
Such a feel good read, to know some soul cares.
I love animals, and the spirit they give.
They have that unconditional love. Wolf! Sweet!
Thanks for sharing, love the BG as well.

Real craft.
Right here in this acrostic.A mnemonic usage of the acrostic form.Great use of back ground as well.
note to self i learned valuable information today.
To use acrostics with a word unpronounced ...bravo.
