Marble-pale and powdered lover
lies patiently in cold refrain.
Charcoal strands above cobalt kisses hover;
Life buried beneath frost-silver stain.
Spring dawning leads to Summer's eve,
and Autumn spreads her amber tones.
A young lover waiting to receive
her false human Cure for days alone.
Winter wraps lands in alabaster,
and yet, a stubborn lover still,
waits while freezing: Love's disaster,
manifested in Another's will.
Pallid cheeks show loss of heat,
yet Another's face seems colorful!
A young love dying over fleeting treat,
and unresisted temptress' pull.
Sleeping Beauty's brittle bed
made by hands of coveted bliss.
She lies eternal, and wings do tread,
on face awaiting warm revival: Lover's kiss.
