Year Long Celebration - Christmas, Florida

Here we have a little town
that celebrated every day of the year.
Drive on through this friendly place
and see lots of holiday cheer.

This place is known as Christmas,
where trees are displayed every day.
And cards for the season, mailed
from people miles away.

Garland and lights decorate,
a year round sight to see.
And in the center of the town;
always a great big Christmas tree.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Christmas Florida is about 20 miles east of Orlando and is decorated for the holidays 365 days a year.  And at Christmas time, it is beyond decorated.  People drive from all over Florida just to have their holiday cards postmarked with Christmas on the.
It was originally Fort Christmas, named for when the fort was built in 1837 during the Seminole war.
I find the irony in it, as commercialism and society portrays everything Christmas as all snowy and cold, yet here we are in Florida, with an OFFICIAL Christmas!
    Wow! This is so cool! And who would have thought? I might just have to go there sometime, just to see this place for myself.
