A brandished weapon
taking shots at Cupid
refusing to let my guard down
like it's
my own personal Picasso
portraying a boy
a sinner
and a saint
An empty tomb
sealed and lonely
before He
tore the vale in two
opening up
my house of Divinity
tearing down the effigies
in the museum of my wars
A portrait to the outside
like a glimpse of my soul
a persevering river of blood
a small part of the whole
a busy bookkeeper
it remembers
it rhymes
Even though,
it's been bruised
a few too many times

I really like this one..however it is not clear to me what your heart is..I guess it is all these things, I would have preferred one or two explored and expanded more..but nevertheless..your imagery is very good and this is very creative...thanks so much for entering my contest..

I really enjoyed the ending lines...
The rhythm is evident and the concept imaginative.
