my name is Laura. My user name is Elvenfairy. My birthday is Feb. 23, 1988. I don't have one home, I have several. This is not because my parents are divorced, it is because I have bipolar, and my mom can't deal with me most of the time. So For teh most part I go from one relitive's house to anothers. At least right now I am in college, so I can stay here in one place. The only times I go to my parents house is for the holidays, and weekends where my mom is less stressed than usual, or when I am willing to clean her house for her. I guess I'll describe my Grandma's house, since thats where I live most often when I am not in school. She lives in a 3 bed room house in Massachusetts. The town she lives in is very typical new england style. White picket fences, a down town area with lots of little shops, and her town is rich, so the houses are big, and there are a bunch of family resort clubs. The Town is called Andover, and several people were accused of being witches there, far more than in Salem, but they were sent to Salem as that was where the court house was. We live about thirty minutes away from Boston, wich is the capital of Massachusetts and is famous for dozzens of things. Lets see, looking out the window of my Grandma's living room you see a winding road wandering through the woods. In the summer everything is so green, and in the winter it is a winter wonderland with snow clinging to the trees and covering the road. The bed room I have when I'm there has a light green paint bordered with pictures of sea shells. I call it the shell room. The kitchen has wood floors that were done over recently, and it always has nice smells of things cooking. My Grandma is a great cook. The living room has a fire place, and I remember many happy winter days curled up on the couch watching the fire for hours, just meditating and staring at the flames.
I have a lot of hobbys other than poetry. I love to read, love to sing, and I love watching shows like M*A*S*H and House MD. and Scrubs. I LOVE the theater, and I am spoiled in that area as my Grandma works as a part time usher at North Shore Music Theater so I get to see all sorts of plays there for free. It's all musicals, and I love them. I have lately developed a facination with Psychology, and I have always loved Human Biology. I am very religious, and have a very strong faith in God. I love animals, and hope to get soem when I get my own place.
Well, that is a bit about me. Hope you liked what you read.

I really enjoyed hearing about you!!! It sounds like you love your grandma very much. Your words brought the scenery you described to life for me. You have a great talent for drawing the reader in.
Thanks for the history on the witches. I have always hoped to visit there one day but something else always pops up instead. It is very nice to meet you and I'm glad we are becoming friend. Love you, Cathy -
Very nice to meet you and a wonderfully interesting profile! I have an aunt and uncle that live in Peabody Mass and have visited them several times.
