Because of you

My life is hell because of you
And all the things you put me through
You never think about the effects of the words you say
And how they slowly eat away
You cause so much pain but you don’t care
Don’t you feel the fear you cause when you are there?
Things are so much better when you’re not about
Sometimes I think of taking the easy way out
But there is too much to leave behind
So for now I will stay.
But the thought remains in my mind
What life would be like without you? or without me?
It won’t last long, This image of a happy family
Behind closed doors everything changes
The happiness disappears,the atmosphere rearranges
My hurt is hidden, but slowly becoming on view
You don’t see what you’re doing, you’re just happy being you
Don’t you realise the sorrow you cause? all this pain
You don’t realise you’re driving me insane
It doesn’t matter how many times you say sorry the damage is already done
These scars I leave on my body,Do you think I do it for fun?
You think that you can make me feel so low
Then when you are nice the pain will go
You can never take away the memories of all the horrid things you have said
Or the dark thoughts that are hidden in my head
Maybe I would be happy, if you wasn’t here,
A life without misery, no pain or fear
But this will never happen, you will never let me go
You will never know...
Because of you I hate going home
Because of you I hate being alone
Because of you I don’t care
Because of just you being there
Because of you I hate my life
Because of you there is so much strife
Because of you my life’s a lie
Because of you I sit and cry
Because of you I can never tell
