The flame on the torch be high when ye hold,
To rain above all; the young and the old,
For you yourself are as priceless as gold.
[Yet the true meaning of glory.]
The rain of flashes from the cameras around,
As you walk along the red carpeted ground,
So far your the most important person to be found.
[So what? Whats the meaning of glory?]
Ye old and ye weak shall never prevail,
Ye shall break under pressure; to death or to bail,
You're pathetic and pointless and nothing but frail.
[Is this from the voice of a glory?]
I shall stand above all and rule in greatness,
Nothing shall ever come of my lateness,
If you are not me you're nothing; you're faceless.
[The sickness of greed; and of glory.]
