Just when I thought
there were no more surprises,
when life was predictable
as chewing sugar cane;
when it seemed that
vanilla was the only
flavor on the shelf,
a thin poor cupboard too;
and I had given up
on the next smile or laugh
and passing gray
became day long gone;
you came into the shadow
beneath willow branch cover
and silently stole my heart;
my sudden lover; oh where,
where did you come from.

Wuah this is so sweet! I had high hopes for the one who got this picture because it's just so damn cute, and you went way over my expectations! Such a beautiful and sweet poem for a loved one. I could see this one of the poems inside a valentine's day card that would definately get a smile from the one reading it. It did make me smile, at least.

Life can be predictable but then something happens to show how much it can change in an instant. I've heard a lot of love stories of this kind, but this one definately stole my heart. Such beautiful words you wrote here; thanks for sharing this one!
