SquirrelDancer

She plays in the fields bordered by forests
the squirrels that leap from tree to tree
are her dearest friends, she dances with them.

Twirling, spinning and leaping through the field
flitting between trees, laughing at squirrelly antics.
Earning her the name, SquirrelDancer.

Author notes

I know it's not that great but I like the name SquirrelDancer. It keeps with the name you already have but a little bit different. Enjoy it while you can when the contest is over I will be deleting this poem.

I thought it was cute, I know we all have those kinds of poems that don't sit well with us, and sometimes others like them so much and even get an awesome trophy! LOL, I loved this because I can relate to antics of squirrels, mine use my roof as a launching pad for the pine trees, and how they hang just to get in the bird feeders. Nice flow, I loved it though. Blessings.

I do the same thing, and delete some poems after the contest is over; otherwise we have such a large collecteion here. Cute name.
