Her logged brunette hair
Falls gently on her shoulders
Pushed away from her face
Revealing her gorgeous purple eyes
The eyes she uses as trickery
To fool her innocent victims
To suck out what she desires
Red juicy blood that is
Blending in with the darkness
Fear of revealing her presence
Afraid of not getting accepted
She moves swiftly but silently
But somehow her beautiful eyes
Reveal something more than
The simplicity of fake purity
It shows her sorrow and regret
Of taking away innocent souls
And wanting to be a simple human
Instead of what she was born to be
A blood thirsty vampire

I love vampire poems/stories and this is definately one of the reasons why! At first, when I started reading this, it seemed like the much used cliche vampire poems you read all the time, but then all of a sudden it changed and showed the truth about this creature so often misunderstood. I loved how you showed the sadness and regert of her being, making her more human than an animal (as I believe vampires should be seen).
Such a sad yet beautiful write that I enjoyed very much! Wonderful work with this one!
