a mirage
of stormy
weather
spirographed into
a girl
like me.
i am a twisty
contemporary bloom
like a water lily
& kiwi flesh
is the color of
my weedy, overgrown
mermaid curls.
tumble up the shore
clouded expression-
-ism
wades across my lips
an afternoon painted
with mushroom,
her body
unsaid;
lolling on
endless
sand
that aches for digging fingers.

Mmm this is just some thoughts right now. Finished dancing and stretching and im feeling all that life drain away.
That little headache when you start to get sleepy, listening to "something new" by Jakalope.
& yeah just generally poofing out whatever is in my head. Washing into sleep I guess it is.

I always love your poems... dunno why I've never really commented before. They've got this really dreamy, ethereal quality that makes you feel like you got sucked into a whole different, underwater world... I say underweater because your poems always make me think of the oceans, because you write about mermaids and things and all. Makes me think that your poetry is the kind of stuff that would be carved on the walls of Atlantis, if that makes any sense. Don't mind me, I'm rambling. So, yes, overall, I loved it. Sweet and simple and dream-like. Great.

im not sure what to say but i had too many favorite parts and it just is oozing with the light of you.
and i have a strange craving for kiwi's but.. im allergic to em! sucks huh? lol either way i love this and i gotta save it ♥
