Winter's Snow

I woke up one morning and look outside
As I saw the snow, I sighed

Piles and piles and piles of snow
It was so radiant, it seemed to glow

A fluffy white powder all over the yard
It was nothing you could discard

Sharp, pointy icicles hanging from the gutter
As beautiful white butterflies flutter

Such a beautiful sight as you well know
Seeing all that gorgeous snow

As I sat by the window daydreaming,
I faintly heard the children screaming

I watched them playing, throwing snowballs
I can also hear the Cardinal's calls

Such a beautiful sight as you well know
Seeing all that gorgeous snow

A fluffy white powder all over the yard
It was nothing you could discard...
