Cold shoulders, they need that red sweater
Swaying to and fro feeling like your heavier
Just lay down and breath little slower
Take your knees and bring them in closer
Now cry through all this pain
Such a good soul its just little
little searing
little burning inside your heart
OK now that your staring into you soul
breath that last little breath
And give in to it all

how did you become mine?
how did you become mine
through all that distance
all those chances
mistakes
lies and retelling
I loved you
alone and lost
afraid
and beaten down
You wrote your way into my soul
searching for the light you hoped I had
my dying flickering little light
we made words together
forging new paths
out of broken endings
You helped me turn a mistake
into a miracle
and you found light
in my darkest place.
I love you Andrew Winston Kolb, and this poem was beautiful and inspiring and full of wonderful little secrets to your soul. There is so much of you to be discovered and I look forward to spending the rest of my life exploring yours. MWA

Welcome to AP
You've conveyed the feeling very well in this, it's an expressive poem. You've misspelled breathe and used your instead of you're, but the images were nice and I especially liked the red sweater part. The ending was rather touching.
