I don’t believe in stories
That you tell to children
I believe what I see
What I feel, smell, touch
In what I know is true
I believe the truth
I believe things that are proven
Through what people do
Do you have any proof of what you say?
Or is it just as they say
To keep you meek
I don’t believe in him
There is nothing you can say to make me
For to me there is nothing there
Through you try and show me different
I don’t believe someone as good as you say
Would do this to this world
You know why I don’t believe
But you won’t accept
Just leave it be
Please let me believe
As I want too
Let my children believe as we wish
Just because we don’t believe
Doesn’t make us any less
